AI Soccer and a Slow Typing Adventure
January 2025
This month, I spent a significant amount of time working on a university project. It was based on Unity’s machine learning package, which allowed us to train AI models in various games—in our case, soccer. Turns out that game development isn’t as easy and fun as one might think, but with an amazing team, we pretty much succeeded, creating an agent that almost can play football.
In the meantime, I’ve been getting used to my newly built ergonomic keyboard (which I mentioned last month) and learning the Colemak layout. Honestly, I haven’t felt this slow in a very long time… But I can already tell that Colemak is much more comfortable than the traditional QWERTY layout. Every day, it gets a little easier, though I still catch myself thinking about every single keystroke. It’ll take time, but I know it’s going to be worth it.
